Amiga 600 GoDrive - Keep Internal A600 Floppy Drive. Switch DFO Status Between Units. Grill Mount Display, Rotary & OLED

Developed by digitalretrobay.co.uk these units have been produced specifically for the Commodore Amiga A600 (allowing the original internal floppy drive to remain in place); while maintaining full accessibility via a 'grill' mount module. A non-destructive solution. No Amiga 600 case modifications required.

No USB storage stick / memory key, is included. We supply these separately via our store.

This kit includes the floppy drive "Y" power split cable allowing both the GoDrive and factory Amiga 600 internal floppy drive, to co-exist with the option to 'flip' either unit to be recognised as DFO. (an internal primary floppy drive)

PLEASE NOTE: On changing DFO status on the 'fly' this may require the real floppy disc or ADF image to be ejected and reinserted to force the Operating System to recognise the change.

If you buy a GoDrive and a USB memory stick from our store and send us a message, we will configure the USB stick before shipping so that it works out of the box with the GoDrive.

Full support is provided and this solution will allow you to take images of floppy disks for the Amiga in .ADF format and run them from this drive (via a USB memory stick) as though they were normal Amiga floppy disks. Your Amiga will not know the difference, when this drive replaces your floppy drive and using the Rotary knob, you can easily swap disks mid-game.:
