Dual port (2.5"/3.5") IDE adapter for the SD2IDE converter - KA60

With this adapter the customer can connect an SD2IDE converter and an additional 3.5" IDE drive (hard disk or optical) using a standard 40-wire flat cable.

It is also possible to connect two 3.5" drives, if the SD2IDE converter is not connected, which allows the upper port to remain available.

KA60 is designed for Amiga 600 and Amiga 1200.

Features

• Active correction of the HD LED signal on both the adaptor's ports (no more problems with the HD LED always being on
• An onboard jumper controls the sending of the HD LED signal from the 3.5" port. When the jumper is removed, the device connected to the 3.5" port does not drive the HD LED
• Rigid and durable construction (no additional separate connection required to attach the SD2IDE converter)
• The SD2IDE converter is mounted with the SD card facing up. This allows the SD card to be changed without dismounting the SD2IDE converter
• The SD2IDE converter faces towards the left of the Amiga IDE port. This allows for space on the right side, for scan doubler or other expansions.
• Adapter does not fit into an Amiga with the upper shield cover installed
• This adapter is not an IDE doubler. It can handle up to two drives (the SD2IDE converter, if fitted, counts as one drive

The SD2IDE converter is sold separately. SD cards are sold separately
If the Furia upgrade card is fitted to the Amiga 600 it will block the right hand IDE port
