Lindy 0.2m USB 2.0 Cable - Type A to B, Transparent

USB cables have power limitations. This is a short A to B USB cable, around 20cm in length - this cable is the type normally used in a longer form, to connect a USB printer to a computer.

We mainly stock these cables, for use with the Greaseweazle V4 (also available, here, on our online store).

Many USB devices take power via the USB cable and the longer the cable, the more the power to the connected device is reduced. To ensure optimum performance, as an optional extra (and for other uses as customers see fit) we offer this; circa 20cm USB A to B cable made by Lindy to ensure problem free operation of connected equipment.

This is the cable we recommend to be used to connect the Greaseweazle V4 to avoid USB power issues, when using 5v PC floppy drives with the Geaseweazle. If using larger 12v PC floppy drives - which is unusual - with the same device, an external power supply or USB powered hub, may still be needed.
