At Retro EZ, we love new modern Amiga compatible hardware, as much as we love the retro classic, original hardware.

For this reason, we are delighted to announce our support for this fantastic reimagining of the iconic Commodore Amiga Tank Mouse, with a few modern enhancements! A result of the hard work and personal investment made by the talented Polish visual designer and retro-gaming / Amiga enthusiast, Lukas Remis.

We are proud to announce that we are now an authorised UK reseller for Lukas's product. This was an option made available via his Kickstarter project (which at the time of writing this - 17th of March, 2022) is still live and soaring towards a 'Stretch Goal'.

Retro EZ have (as we always do to support the maker community) pre-paid for an initial batch of black and white models. If the Kickstarter 'Stretch Goal' is a success, Lukas will include a slick looking Amiga DB9 to USB adaptor. In the extremely unlikely event that doesn't happy, we will add a reasonable priced and tested model to our online store.

Our primary goal is to offer available UK stock, where the buyer simply pays UK delivery prices and we handle the import and distribution and support product accessibility should Kickstarter stock run out quickly or if there are gaps between direct production runs.

However, if our bulk imported reseller order is subject to a small import duty cost; we may need to factor that in and average it over unit cost prices. In such a case we'll promptly communicate with all Pre-Paid Backorder customers and provide immediate refunds if customers are not happy. We do not expect this will be the case. We will also ship to Europe and Worldwide, however, hopefully other EU and Worldwide resellers will also support the ongoing sale of Lukas's project.

As is always the case via Retro EZ, we will ring-fence customer Pre-Paid Backorder funds in a separate 'Project' bank account, that we will not touch until satisfactory deliveries are concluded. Therefore any project issues or other challenges, we'll have the option to immediately refund any customers who are not happy.

Shipping ETA is expected to be November/December 2022 and we have confirmed that the Retro EZ reseller 'bulk' order, will ship at the same time as individual Kickstarter backer orders.

We are also donating a few 'test' foam mouse mats to the project, to ensure the Optical Laser movement is smooth. Those mouse mats will also be available via our online store.

The attached images are based on the 3D printed prototype (but we still think they look awesome!). The final product will be completed via Injection Moulding to provide the best finish.
