RetroEZ have designed and manufactured our own in-house range of robust storage cards, suitable for general use, although specifically built for use as modern reliable hard drive replacements in retro computer systems, such as the Commodore Amiga.

When combined with the required adaptors, our range of durable, fully tested storage cards (available in 16GB and 128GB capacities, in both Solid-State drive (SD) and Compact Flash drive (CF) formats, allow traditional IDE hard drives, to be replaced with faster alternatives, which take up less internal space and in most cases, last much longer; due to the fact that they have no moving parts.

Please note, certain 3rd party upgrades may prefer SD cards to CF cards, to achieve the best level of reliability. In addition, the cable length on the adaptors purchased to connect these storage cards to classic computers, can also have a bearing on reliability. In many case, especially in relation to the Commodore Amiga range of computer systems, where possible, we recommend that users purchase the KA47 adaptor available on this store, as with the Amiga 600 and Amiga 1200 models especially, the fact that these adaptors do not use any cables at all, delivers the maximum potential compatibility.

For situations where short cable based adaptors do not cause an issue and/or users prefer or are using equipment that will only accept CF cards, we offer an equally robust range of Compact Flash storage cards, as an alternative.
