Product Details

A very useful switch cable for the Raspberry Pi 4B model, which removes the need to keep removing and reconnecting the USB-C connector on the Raspberry Pi. This avoids eventually damaging the USB-C power socket (which is a fairly tight fit) and/or corrupting your storage cards in the Raspberry PI, which can occasionally happen if you don't pull the power connector out (or push it in) smoothly. As the Pi then otherwise gets power and loses it again within a second or two causing it to turn off then try and reboot, then turn off again when you finally ease the USB-C cable fully out.

To turn your Raspberry Pi on or off using this cable, just press the switch!

The switch has a durable rubber feel and a solid 'click-on-click-off' action that also includes a red power LED indicator.

Please Note: This is designed and tested for the Raspberry Pi 4 using an official Raspberry Pi 4 power supply. We have not tested this cable with the many smartphones or other USB-C chargers/power supply units on the market.

The cable is USB-C female one end and USB-C the other, meaning you can continue to use your factory Raspberry PI 4 power supply, with the added bonus of a proper power switch.

This cable (including the connectors) is just 31cm long, so the switch is always within reach of the Raspberry Pi.

This cable does not transfer data so it's mainly useful for powering devices while adding an on/off switch to the power supply.

Please Note: Picture 2 is for reference only, there is no Raspberry Pi computer included with this product.
